The above pictures are placed to show some steps taken to produce my original dinner show poster on the right. At top is the paper used, left being the first version and on the right is the edited version to suit the purposes of the design.

The next example shows the type from start (white) to finish where it has masked the background paper. Also, some filters (quite a few) were applied to give it an old, inky retro printed style.

Adjusting the photos to black & white was also more suitable for a 1960s style.

2nd Retro Style Poster: Poster for Book Store Prices
For this poster I used the same paper and similar type effects as in first design. I used my Kodak 4.0mp camera to take a photo and then edited the picture to make the book look old and used.
